Catherine was pleased to welcome a delegation of education leaders from sub-Saharan Africa in Parliament on Wednesday 7 February, as part of a British Council organised programme to facilitate global connections within the educational community.
The visit was organised by the British Council Partner Schools programme, which delivers UK International School Qualifications in over 100 countries and provides study tours for school leaders. You can find out more about the programme on their website – https://www.britishcouncil.org/exam/partnerschools.
Catherine commented:
“Ensuring the best education for every child is a global challenge and it was a pleasure to welcome the delegation of education leaders from sub-Saharan Africa to Parliament and to have such a vibrant discussion of ideas, best practices and educational cultures. I’m grateful to the British Council for facilitating the exchange.”
