I’m frustrated with the UK Government’s continued opposition to supporting regional airports like Newcastle International. Scotland and Northern Ireland have given 12 months business rates relief in recognition of the huge challenges facing the sector. The price of inaction from the UK Government will be job losses and less green investment in new aviation technology.
